What an amazing day we had, getting the land ready at the back of St. Pappin's pastoral Centre for our Pocket Forest & Irish Heritage Orchard in Ballymun.

This is the largest Pocket Forest in Ireland.

Thanks to the amazing volunteers who helped us prepare the land for the tree planting which will take place in the Winter. Thanks also to Sharon from GAP who lent us the wheelbarrows & tools, dropped them and collected them 👏. We had great support from the community, the Sisters who got stuck in with the work and provided us with lunch etc., the Rediscovery Centre, Dublin City Council and the amazing Pocket Forest Team. This is so positive, inclusive, changing and inspirational. Looking forward to the next stage. 🌳🌳🌳 - Caroline Conroy
