St. Pappin's Day ~ Family Fun Day 2026
As we gathered to celebrate the Feast of our Patron Saint, St. Pappin, our hearts were filled with gratitude to God for the many blessings He continues to pour out upon our parish community.
We wish to sincerely thank everyone who joined us for our St. Pappin's Day celebration on Friday, 31st July. It was a wonderful occasion that brought together people of all ages in a spirit of faith, friendship, and joyful community.
A special word of thanks to the children and families who took part in our parish summer camp, Knowing Jesus Through Prayer. Throughout the week they reminded us that faith is nurtured through prayer, kindness, and sharing God's love with one another. Their enthusiasm and joy were a blessing to us all and a beautiful witness to the life of our parish.
We offer my heartfelt gratitude to our remarkable team of volunteers. Your generosity of spirit, your willingness to give so freely of your time, and the love and care you showed to everyone present truly reflected the Gospel in action. Whether your contribution was seen or unseen, every act of service helped create a welcoming and joyful celebration. May God bless each of you for your kindness and dedication to our parish family.
My sincere thanks also to DJ Karl for bringing such joy to the afternoon through music, and to Dublin City Council for their valued support and encouragement of this community event.
Thank you to Lilian, Sr. Brenda, Mary, Irene and all those who provided the fabulous food and drinks
Finally, thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Your presence made the day truly special and reminded us that our parish is more than a place of worship—it is a family of faith where we support, encourage, and care for one another.
