As we prepare to celebrate Holy Week we might find we have more time than usual to pray the rosary. Mary meets her beloved son on his harrowing way of the cross. She is at the foot of the cross as he suffers and dies. Mary our Blessed Mother is with us on the way of the cross. She is at the foot of the cross of human suffering. As we listen to this lovely setting of the Ave Maria we pray through her intercession for healing, comfort and strength.
May the prayers of Mary
The mother of Jesus
Who stood by the cross as her Son was dying,
Be with all who are ill or grieving
And be with all of us in our time of need
