Hope you’re keeping well and enjoying a restful and peaceful Christmas. It’s been hard going on you all to manage within the current guidelines. We understand how disappointing it was for some of you who couldn’t join us for Mass on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the Church as the doors were closed when we reached the maximum number of 50. We share in your sadness at this situation that no one could have ever imagined. We keep hope alive as we welcome the vaccines that hold the promise of new beginnings. We continue to support one another in a solidarity of prayer and hope.
Unfortunately, all Churches are once again closed for public worship as directed by Level 5 restrictions.
Mass will be streamed this week every morning at 10.00a.m. from Holy Spirit Church www.stpappinsparish.com/webcam
Our Vigil Masses and Sunday Masses will be streamed from our three Churches at the usual times.
We’re hoping the closure of the Churches will be a short-term measure and we will keep you updated.
Please take good care, stay safe and go gently.
We continue to celebrate the gift of Christmas:
WE ARE NOT ALONE.
GOD IS WITH US
It is sad that churches are closed, when there is social distancing in our parish. To me it's a special feeling going to Mass to be in the presence of God.
