Keep Me Safe O God

Many of you have said how difficult it can be to pray when we are burdened with anxiety and loneliness.  Sometimes it can help to have a simple mantra that we can repeat as we breathe in. 

As we breathe out we try to let go of our burden of worry.  This lovely setting of psalm 16 might help us. 

Our mantra can be KEEP ME SAFE O GOD or KEEP US SAFE O GOD.  As we pray for all who are working so heroically through this crisis, we pray KEEP THEM SAFE O GOD.

We may be apart but let’s remain together in a communion of hope and prayer.

May our God of life and love keep you and your families safe and fill your hearts with comfort and peace.
