Thank You from Fr Declan and Fr Ciarán for your very generous help in collecting so many cans & plastic bottles to assist the Parish financially during this difficult time because of restrictions due to COVID.
We were so surprised when Lena informed us that collectively you had filled 200 bags raising €1,000. Our very sincere thanks to each of you. We never thought that collecting cans/plastic bottles could raise so much money. It shows what a group of volunteers working together can accomplish! Please God we will be able to gather to share stories and celebrate when COVID is no longer a threat to our health.
In particular we want to thank he dedicated leaders from the three Churches of St Pappins Parish; Virgin Mary, Holy Spirit, and St Joseph’s for your leadership in making the can and plastic bottle collection such a success and for involving your neighbours and friends.
We also want to express our gratitude to Ballymun Tidy Towns Committee for securing this pilot project for Ballymun. Their team of volunteers do ‘trojan’ work to improve the appearance and quality of life in Ballymun. Thank you to Sr Lena who requested that she and her team of volunteers could participate in the pilot Ballymun recycling project to raise funds for the Parish.
While we are very pleased that the project continues, we ask you not to put yourself or your family at risk, especially with the increased COVID cases. It is vitally important for all of us to follow all the public health guidelines.
